Water quality – how can it be obtained?
Water quality – good for what?
The aim is to improve and maintain the quality of our waters in a way that allows a wide variety of uses.
Some of the known uses of water bodies include
- Habitat for organisms – preservation of ecological diversity
- Recreation and Leisure
- Wastewater discharge
- Extraction for cooling water and irrigation purposes
Good water quality is a decisive precondition for enabling the most possible variety of requirements. Only then will it be possible to assess the water sustainability of planned measures. Water management expertises based on this guiding principle are one of our core tasks.
